Scott commenced his career in insolvency law in 2003.

Prior to founding Taylor David Lawyers, Scott was a Partner within a Brisbane commercial litigation/insolvency firm where he headed the restructuring and insolvency division.

Scott has represented clients in various Supreme and Appellant Courts of Australia, inclusive of the High Court. Jurisdictionally, he has had carriage of matters throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and New Zealand.
Scott has been quoted in various financial and news publications. He regularly presents seminars and papers to specialist accounting insolvency firms on complex technical points and developing areas of insolvency law.

By delivering quality results, Scott maintains his loyal client base which includes insolvency practitioners, receivers and managers, other law firms, accounting firms, creditors, debtors, company directors, public and private companies.

As a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia, Scott undertakes ongoing legal education over and above that of a normal solicitor.

Jin has established foundations in corporate law with experience as Corporate Counsel in London for a Global Fortune 500 company, in addition to his experience as General Counsel for a top 200 ASX listed company; as an in-house counsel for Her Majesty’s Tresury Solicitors (UK); and as a commercial/litigation lawyer with a boutique law firm in Brisbane.

With intimate knowledge of what makes or breaks a company, Jin’s ability to efficiently diagnose and provide prompt advice is invaluable.
